K’si is Choked Ahead of Xmas
MOVEMENT IN Kumasi by vehicles and people nowadays has virtually become impossible, the paper has realized.
The streets in the city, especially, the Central Business District (CBD) of Adum, has become choked.
The upcoming Christmas festivities is said to have caused the massive vehicular and human traffic in the city.
People from all walks of life have been trooping to the city to shop ahead of Christmas, which is one-week away.
During a visit to the city center on Tuesday, vehicles were seen stuck in heavy traffic, which is unusual in the city.
“Some of the vehicles have been in the long traffic for hours without moving an inch”, some of the drivers cried.
They said Christmas usually brings lot of people to the city, but what they are witnessing now is very strange.
Apart from the vehicular traffic, people also struggled to move through the city, due to heavy human traffic.
Countless number of people were spotted struggling to even move through the city center, notably Adum.
Meanwhile, some of the traders said they have started making a lot money as people have been patronizing their goods.
