Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has landed on the transfer list of English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer guru recently dropped transfer news on fellow Ghanaian and Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey with a number of European based clubs reportedly interested in getting the Arsenal player.
Kudus has been linked to several EPL clubs after putting up an impressive 2022-2023 season that had him score twice in three games at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
For Ajax Amsterdam, the 22 year old scored 11 goals and added three assists in 30 league games while bagging four goals and two assists in the UEFA Champions League.
Reported interest have come from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle United with German side Borussia Dortmund in the mix for his service.
After a surprise run that ended in a historic qualification to the Europa League, Brighton needs to boost its depth especially in midfield with Alexis Mac Allister leaving to Liverpool and Moises Caicedo on the brink of exiting the Seagulls.
In his tweet, Romano stated, the interest from Brighton is “concrete” and the team likes Kudus but acknowledged the deal isn’t an “easy deal”.
“Understand Mohammed Kudus is one of the top targets for Brighton this summer. He’s in the list, the interest is concrete. #BHAFC Not an easy deal but Brighton like Kudus — no concrete talks with Chelsea. Brighton have not opened talks for Koopmeiners at this stage” the tweet reads.
