Ghanaian midfield sensation Mohammed Kudus is on the brink of another milestone at West Ham United, as two of his remarkable goals in March have earned nominations for the club’s esteemed Goal of the Month Award.
Kudus stands out as the sole player with two goals vying for this prestigious accolade, which will be determined by a fan vote.
After facing challenges following Ghana’s early exit in the 2023 AFCON, impacting his form, Kudus made a remarkable comeback in March.
The former Ajax Amsterdam star demonstrated his brilliance by scoring twice against SC Freiburg in the Europa League, both goals earning him nominations for the Goal of the Month Award. Notably, one of these goals was an exceptional solo effort, originating from a lightning-fast run from his own half.
Furthermore, he contributed a goal in a 4-3 loss to Newcastle and provided several assists throughout the month.
Among his nominated goals, Kudus’ first strike against Freiburg has generated significant excitement, with many predicting it to not only secure him the Goal of the Month Award but also position him as a strong contender for the Goal of the Season accolade.
