Kufour Mourns Late Agyarko …Describes Him As A Great Gem
John Agyekum Kufuor has described late Ayawaso West Wuogon MP, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko as a great gem who Ghana will miss.
Describing the late MP as humble, warm and down-to-earth politician, the former President said his wife are shattered over the demise of a person he described as a family.
According to him, it hurts to hear such a fine gentleman who engages everyone he meets will die.
“Emmanuel Agyarko is like a family member to us. His father was a good friend and I can say that he took his father’s positive behavior. I have been shattered ever since we heard the news. I can only ask God to forgive him for his sins and keep him in his bosom,” he said in an interview on Accra based Okay FM.
Kyeremanteng Agyarko, 61, died yesterday 21 November 2018 at a hospital in the United States of America after a long battle with illness.
The former Chief Executive Officer of the Food and Drugs Board (FDB) now FDA, was born on 10 December 1957 at Odumase Krobo in the Eastern Region.
The late pharmacist-turned-politician obtained a BSc IN Pharmacy at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in 1982.
