Kukesi Movie Premiere: Portray Of Africa Culture

Over the weekend saw the successful premiere of the much anticipated movie primiere KUKESI at the Global Cinemas in Accra.

The successful show was obtained in two sessions starting from 7 and 9pm respectively.

As at 6:30 pm, the venue was full with unexpected number of people with their tickets ready to watch the KUKESI MOVIE.

Amazingly, instead of “red carpet”, Kukesi movie premiere had a black carpet ( which depicts Black African Culture).

The casts were all dressed in African wear, looking beautifully on the black carpet, Taking pictures with audience who came around and love ones.

The Primiere saw attendance from a lot of media houses, stakeholders and a lot of Industry players.

After 30 minutes of black carpet, the first premiere started around 7:15pm with the auditorium filled to capacity.

There was no empty chair and looking at the number of people who had to wait for the second premiere, it was overwhelming. There was a high purchase of tickets.

The movie which was supposed to be premiered twice saw a third show which was very encouraging.

Kukesi movie is a great Ghanaian movie which depits our culture and heritage as Africans.

Over the period, there has been very high critic on the movie scene making revenue on a low spot but looking at the audience at KUKESI premiere, one cannot hide but rather justify the good works producers are exhibiting in the game.

Director Evergreen who couldn’t hide his feelings expressed joy and gratitude to all who made the Kukesi movie premiere a success.
