Kumasi Academy Turns Prayer Camp After 11 Deaths
THE KUMASI Academy Senior High School (KUMACA) campus at Asokore Mampong in the Ashanti region has virtually been turned into a temporary prayer ground.
The school had been hit by a huge calamity, following the sudden deaths of eleven students just this year.
During a visit to the school on Wednesday, the entire student body, teachers and workers of the school were seen praying fervently.
Led by some powerful Men of God, the students prayed that God would intervene to end the inexplicable deaths that hit the school in the last ten months.
While some of the students were on their knees praying fervently, others could be seen wailing and begging God to cast away the spirit of death that had caused a lot of havoc in the school.
The headmaster of the school (name withheld) and other top community leaders were also present at the mammoth prayer sessions, some of which lasted for hours.
It will be recalled that KUMACA witnessed strange deaths, which claimed the lives of seven students during the early part of this year.
The school witnessed a pause of death reports for some months, only for the calamity to resurface last week Thursday, claiming four more lives within 72 hours.
The real cause of the deaths has so far not been established, but some residents are attributing the situation to the invasion of some evil spiritual forces in the school and have therefore called for prayers to help cast the devil away from the campus.
