Kumasi Ash Town Hails Nana for Fixing Road
THE PEOPLE of Ash Town, in the Manhyia South Constituency in Kumasi, are jubilating, following the construction of roads in their area.
With just 18 months in political office, the President Nana Akufo-Addo-led government had started constructing several roads in the region in fulfilment of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) campaign promise to the people.
And the people of Manhyia South, especially, Ash Town, have not been left out as construction works are earnestly going on in the area.
During THE PUBLISHER’S visit to the constituency last week, most of the roads that were previously damaged were being fixed by contractors. Drainage systems were being constructed and the roads were also being asphalted.
Most residents of Ash Town were seen openly jubilating over the NPP government’s ability to fulfill its campaign promise within few months in office.
Some of the people that spoke to the paper indicated that, until recently, moving from one place to another had become difficult due to bad roads.
The elated residents, who could not hide their joy, even promised that they would vote massively for the NPP in 2020 to sustain its good works.
