Kumasi Youth Promotes Education

THE KUMASI Youth Association (KUYA) has presented quantities of exercise books to the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA).

The books are expected to be distributed to the various schools in the Kumasi Metropolis by the KMA to boost academic work.

The timely donation is one of KUYA’s efforts to help boost academic work in the Kumasi Metropolis, officials of the group, said.

They said they were thrilled by the Kumasi Mayor, Osei Assibey Antwi’s efforts to help promote education in the Kumasi Metropolis.

The group therefore decided to present the exercise books so as to help Hon. Osei Assibey to achieve his aim of boosting academic work in the city.

KUYA is one of the prominent and vibrant youth associations in Asanteman, which works to help promote the Asante Kingdom and the Golden Stool.

Hon. Osei Assibey, commended KUYA for their vital roles to help promote Kumasi and Asanteman.

According to him, the exercise books would be distributed to the various schools in the region to help boost academic work in the metropolis.

The Kumasi Mayor stated that Ghana needs to properly educate its youth, who are the future leaders, to help enhance the future prospects of the country.

Hon. Osei Assibey therefore appealed passionately to other individuals and associations to also contribute to the growth of education in the city.

Meanwhile, the KUYA members have also presented a citation to Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi for performing excellently since he assumed office.
