Kwesi Appiah lacks Managerial Skills – Spokesperson for Ayew family
The spokesman for Jordan and Andre Ayew, Fiifi Tackie, has launched a scathing attack on Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah saying the former international defender is not a good head coach.
Tackie descended heavily on the head coach of the Black Stars claiming that the public statements about the Ayew bothers has not helped resolve issues properly.
The head coach of the Black Stars Kwesi Appiah excluded Deputy Captain, André Dede Ayew and his brother Jordan Ayew from the team’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya in Nairobi.
“Kwesi Appiah is a coach but not a manager or a good manager to say the least, We are not fighting Kwesi for sidelining the Ayews but what we’re contending is the notion that they are not committed to the national team.” – Tackie told Atinka FM.
“A lot of Kwesi Appiah’s remarks recently after the Ayews exclusion from the team have been purely insinuations. He casts insinuations at the players and we know why he is doing that,” he added.
There has been reportage that Kwesi Appiah has not been impressed with the attitude of the Ayew brothers but the Fiifi Tackie says the coach has been not helpful in resolving issues
Ghana will face the Harambee Stars of Kenya on September 8, 2018, in a 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier in Nairobi.
