Tema- based rapper and singer, Kwesi Arthur, has made headlines on BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s Destination from Africa’ as he shared how the new breed of artistes in Africa are taking on the music scene.
The Ground Up Chale recording artist told DJ Edu, host of the show, that emerging African artistes are opened to new sounds across the world market, and thus do such excellent songs that a lot of people readily patronize on various online platforms.
He shared an excerpt from his interview on his Instagram page and thanked DJ Edu for the affection and guide.
Born Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior, Kwesi Arthur, is a Ghanaian Hip-hop and Hiplife artist, who became widely known after he released the remix of “Grind day” in which he featured multiple award-winning rapper, Sarkodie and AMG Business signed act, Medikal.
He earned a nomination in the 2018 Black Entertainment Television Awards, and was nominated for the Viewers’ Choice Best New International Act category but unfortunately lost out to South Africa’s Sjava.
