Kweysi Swat Out With ‘Had I Known’ After Exiting Guru’s NKZ Music Label

Ghanaian Afro-Highlife artiste Kweysi Swat has released a new banger. Titled, ‘Had I Known’, was released after he left Guru’s NKZ Music label.

The new single talks about challenges he encountered in his music career. ‘Had I Known’ tells the mistakes Kweysi Swat made in the past and was hoping to correct them.

The young talented musician who fuses Afro and Highlife genres is optimistic of taking over the music industry with his new single.

Born Francis Obeng Appianing, Kweysi Swat hails from Takoradi in the Western Region.

He attended St. Johns School in Sekondi where his music dream started. Swat continued to Kumasi Polytechnic and released his first single after his National Service.

He was later signed on to Guru’s NKZ Music Label for five years but the marriage ended abruptly.

He collaborated with Guru on ‘Bad Energy’ which earned 2020 VGMA Hiplife song of the year and 2020 Ghana Music Awards USA, Hiplife song of the year nominations.

Kweysi Swat and Dadie Opanka’s, masterpiece on ‘Holiday’ song won Best Cinematography award at the 2019 3rd TV Music Video Awards.

Kweysi Swat is currently under the management of Musiconnect and hoping to get a record deal soon.
