THE ASOKWA Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates will mark this year’s Yuletide in grand style as they have received free live chicken to mark the merrymaking event.
Edmund Kyei, the Asokwa Constituency NPP First Vice Chairman, who currently does not hold any key position in government, has donated 700 live broiler chicken to the party delegates.
The young politician, who is also a renowned entrepreneur, has used his own coffers to purchase the live chicken estimated at an amount of GHC 42,000 to help his party delegates to mark the Yuletide.
Interestingly, the free donation of the chicken comes few months after Edmund Kyei had used his own money to start a Healthcare Policy for NPP delegates at Asokwa to assess free medical care.
Edmund Kyei stated that the free chicken would be distributed to every NPP member in the constituency so that they would also have a feel of Christmas, which is some free days away.
The beneficiary poling stations included Ahinsan Estate, Ahinsan A & B Electoral, Kaase, Asokwa Extension, Asokwa New Town, Gyinyase, Agogo North and South and Atonsu A & B.
Edmund Kyei said the NPP delegates would play key roles to help the ruling political party to retain political power in 2024 therefore they should be pampered and supported at all times by the party.
Significantly, Rev. Benjamin Fosu Nkrumah Asokwa Constituency Chairman and other key executives in the constituency, assisted Edmund Kyei as he distributed the free live chicken.
