Ghanaian actress Rose Mensah, popularly known as Kyeiwaa, has urged young people not to underestimate the importance of education.
In a video shared on her Instagram, she opened up about the challenges she faced due to her low educational level after relocating to the United States. Kyeiwaa emphasized that education plays a crucial role in overcoming obstacles and achieving success in life.
“As you keep refusing to go to school, you might not see the effects today. You might experience in future when you travel abroad.
If your mother is working hard to fend for you so that you get educated, pay attention and go to school. Don’t say you won’t go to school. You might not feel the impact today,” she said in the video.
“If you don’t go to school, you might not be able to communicate in English just like me. I have been through it, that is why I am advising you,” she added.
Kyeiwaa is known for her roles in movies such as Akurasi Burgers, The Code of Money and Death, Akonoba, Cross Road, Abebrese, Ogyam, among others.
