The items donated include; vaccines, refrigerators, sterilizers, delivering beds, delivery sets, BP apparatus, and digital baby scales.
The country Director for Hunger Project Ghana, Mr Samuel Afranie in an interview said the delivery of the equipment was to help improve service delivery to motivate more pregnant women to attend the facilities.
He called on non-governmental organisations to supplement the efforts made by the government in the health sector.
Elder Charlie Redlin, Head of Africa West Area of the Latter-Day Saints said they visited some of the epicenters months ago and realised that the facilities were bedevilled with challenges regarding equipment.
He said this prompted them to support some of the facilities with the equipment to enhance health delivery.
