Let Bawumia Apply the Law If He Sees Infractions – Asiedu Nketiah
The general secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has asked Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia to stop complaining and apply the law where he sees infractions.
On the other hand, he can simply lay down his office if he finds it too challenging.
Asiedu Nketiah was speaking on Accra FM Tuesday morning while responding to claims attributed to the Vice President that the entire gold industry in Ghana was handed to foreigners during the reign of the erstwhile NDC government.
The NDC chief scribe, also called General Mosquito, also scoffed at claims by President Akufo-Addo that in-fighting within the NDC cost it the 2016 general elections.
Nana Addo at the New Patriotic Party’s extraordinary conference in Kumasi at the weekend, cautioned his party members to avoid the usual intra-party bickering and division that he said has been the bane of parties in government when they lose to the opposition.
But Asiedu Nketiah said the president could not have been speaking about division in the NDC because going into election 2016, the NPP was more divided than any other party. Otherwise, he said the president was merely saying something on the spur of the moment.
