Let’s help NAM1 Succeed – Sarkodie
CEO of Sarkcess Music, Michael Owusu Addo known in showbiz as Sarkodie has called on Ghanaians and music lovers to support our very own Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Zylofon Media, MenzGold and newly ‘baby’ Zylofon Properties to help build and develop the dream he has for the music industry.
The Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah has pledged to do all he can to develop the creative arts industry.
Some Ghanaian’s have been throwing backlashes to Nana Appiah asking him to stop “wasting cash on celebrities because they will yield no profit for him.
However, Sarkodie speaking on Hitzfm with Andy Dosty Tuesday morning, disclosed that he has been having personal conversation with Nana Appiah Mensah on how to help build the music industry and also how to put effective, efficient and very potent system & structures that would be utilized to monetize Ghanaian artists or celebrities who take lots of pains sacrificing days and sleepless nights recording and creating good content.
Sarkodie also disclosed that building an empire doesn’t come cheap and Nana Appiah is a businessman and this is entertainment which is not his field so he may have his flaws and Ghanaians may use his flaws to judge him even though he is a strong spirited man which he has no plan to stop and Ghanaians shouldn’t make him stop because the Ghanaian industry don’t have someone like him.
Meanwhile during the interview, the host, Andy Dosty asked rapper Sarkodie if he will ever consider being signed as an artiste to Zylofon Music. and he said:
” I don’t want to disappoint my fans but my state of mind as at now is to embark on the same dream Nana Appiah Mensah has so not necessarily being an artist just to do music but I wouldn’t mind working with Nana Appiah on his projects.
Because I have seen a lot of things I think I can let him know that we can implement here to push the industry to the next level because I have had conversations with lots of people which I can disclose them to you here but I feel me and Nana Appiah Mensah can have that conversation to push the industry,” the Sarkcess Music CEO added.
