The frontline health workers in the fight against Covid-19 at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, have received support from ace actor and comedian, Kwadwo Nkansah, who is popularly known as ‘Lilwin’.
Similar assistance has also been extended by the actor to the Ashanti Police Command, who have also committed some personnel to help defeat the deadly virus.
The award-winning actor, who resides in Kumasi, donated boxes of bottled water, bottles of Bel Coffee and Choco Malta.
Lilwin, who has massive support especially in Kumasi and all over Ghana due to his comic acting skills, was supported by Blowchem Industries Limited.
In his remarks, the ace actor stated that the frontline health workers and the police were risking their lives to help defeat the deadly virus.
According to him, the public ought to support the frontline health workers and the police in order to motivate them to sustain their splendid work for the state.
Lilwin was hopeful his donation would inspire the police and the frontline health workers to do more, urging the public to adhere to the advice from health experts.
