Comic film actor and entertainer, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win became the toast of thousands of music fans at the Gamashi Homowo bash held over the weekend, at the Bukom Park in Accra.
Lil win who was dressed in a Ga traditional apparrel, put up a splendid performance to the satisfaction of the audience.
He performed songs like ‘ladder’, ‘Mama boss papa’, ‘Yeko Nyame fie’, amongst others.
Being the third of its kind, the concert saw overwhelming patronage, as some 5,000 patrons from Gamashi and surrounding areas attended the concert.
Bukom park, which was the venue for the event witnessed some of the best Ga musicians in the country, as Nii funny, Article Wan, Epixode, Wisa Greid, and Luther mounted the stage to thrill fans.
There were also performances from artistes such as Ras Kuuku, Edem, Dhat Gyal, Dr. Drew, Adotey Tetor, amongst others.
The concert, organized by Halifax Entertainment, was part of the activities to mark the annual Homowo festivities.
The goal of the annual event, according to the organizers, is to foster a sense of community and peace among Ga Mashie indigenes and inhabitants.
Lil Win is a force to reckon with when it comes to entertainment in this country.
The actor cum musician is expected to release another single, titled “Oblogo” in the next coming days.
