Looking Forward To Return Stronger After Injury – Daniel Amartey

Ghanaian defender Daniel Amartey has vowed to return stronger after suffering a horrific injury in a 1-1 draw with West Ham in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Amartey,23, suffered a dreadful ankle injury and had to be carried out by the medical staff of his outfit.

The Leicester city defender twisted his leg on the turf in the injury-time of the clash and had to recieve oxygen before taken off the pitch.

Amartey thanked well-wishers and assured them of coming back stronger, he tweeted “Thank you all for the well wishes. We will be back stronger again!”.

The manager of Leicester City Claude Puel told the press after the game ‘My first thought is for my player at the end, Amartey. I hope it is not serious, he played well and gave everything. It’s difficult to see this at the end”.
