Lover Girl Kills Man

JOSEPH BAWA, a 30 year old man at Ayigya Zongo in Kumasi, suspected to have been killed by his girlfriend.

Jennifer Appiah, the suspected killer, allegedly stabbed Bawa in the abdomen and he couldn’t survive.

The two lovebirds, who resides at Ayigya Zongo, in Kumasi, are said to have dated and lived together for some years.

Sources said Jennifer and Bawa, who are blessed with a child, usually fight, with Jennifer always issuing death threats.

On Sunday, June 11, 2023, the two lovebirds, reportedly, fought again in their house and they were separated.

The people at the scene then thought peace had been restored between Jennifer and Bawa but that as not the case.

Few minutes later, Jennifer, allegedly, picked a sharp knife and stabbed Bawa in the street to the surprise of onlookers.

Bawa was bleeding profusely so he was rushed to the hospital to help save his life but he was declared dead on arrival.

The lifeless body has since been deposited in the mortuary for preservation and autopsy to identify the cause of death.

Meanwhile, Jennifer after committing the heinous crime, has since gone into hiding as the police are hunting for her.
