Lutterodt: Help Me Feed The Poor This Easter

The Counselor Lutterodt Foundation, aimed at providing succor for the needy in society, is lacing boots to provide one hot meal and water for an estimated 20,000 Ghanaian mothers and children who fall within the poor and needy class.

The initiative, a brainchild of popular Ghanaian public figure,  Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt, mostly referred to known as ‘Counselor Lutterodt’, is scheduled for Monday April 5, 2021, which is Easter Monday.

“We have estimated to reach out to some 20,000 women and children and it is our hope to raise the budget within  the next few days. We have raised funds to cater for quite a number but we have not reached the target of 20,000.

“We are talking about Ghanaian mothers and their children who are poor and you find them literally living and having their homes in market centers, lorry stations, along the road sides and such places. We are having Agbogbloshie  Market and its environs in mind but if we raise the requisite resources, we may expand the scope”,  Counselor Lutterodt explained.

He said Easter is a season of showing love and sympathy for mankind and it would be great to provide such an act of charity during a season that marks the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ.

“This is not the first time we are doing this as a Foundation. The most recent one was during the COVID lockdown where we provided similar charity services to some five hospitals and ordinary Ghanaians who were in need of basic things like nose masks and sanitizers”, he added.
