President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo has criticized and accused former President John Mahama led administration of plunging the country Ghana into a big home.
Addressing Delegates and Supporters of the New Patriotic Party conference held in Koforidua, the Eastern regional capital, the president revealed that former administration took the country into an unfortunate side in nation development.
According to the President, the economic state of the country was in a bad mismanagement. He further stated that 3.6 was the GDP growth rate in 2016 and that was the lowest in two decades.
” Digging us out of the deep hole the Mahama government plunged our country into was never an easy one, but we have to do it. We have to be discipline in the management of our public finances, otherwise our aspirations for a better tomorrow will remain just – aspiration and not reality “-he said.
He again indicated that, the country is in a good course and it will mean that, things will get better with the NPP administration and that Ghanaians shouldn’t regret ever voting for the New Patriotic Party.
