The Lyon Business School in France has conferred an honorary doctorate degree on former president John Dramani Mahama. The ceremony took place in Lyon, France on the campus of the school.
The honorary degree was handed to him at a ceremony in France on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.
Accompanying him was the former first lady, Lordina Mahama, who was looking dazzling in a colourful kente outfit.
Mahama was honoured alongside other leaders like former Belgium prime minister, Elio Di Rupo and former Togo prime minister, Agbeyome Gabriel Kodjo.
The Ekiti University, also in Nigeria, and the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, have also conferred honorary doctorate degrees on him in the past.
This is the fourth doctorate degree Mahama has received so far.
Mr Mahama is seeking a comeback as the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to lead the party into the 2020 election.
