MAHAMA, KOJO BONSU TICKET POSSIBLE

IT IS possible that Mr. Kojo Bonsu will drop his presidential ambition and become running mate to John Dramani Mahama in the 2020 general elections.

The Kojo Bonsu for President Campaign Team Manager, Mohammed Alhassan, who dropped the hint in an interview recently, said “you can’t say never in politics”.

Alhassan was asked whether his boss would consider acting as Mr. Mahama’s running mate in 2020, when he gave the unequivocal response.

“Sure, Kojo Bonsu will consider if former President Mahama proposes that he should be his running mate”.

Speaking on Otec FM, the Campaign Team Manager noted that Kojo Bonsu doesn’t have any problem with Mr. Mahama, and cautioned the public against misconstruing Bonsu’s presidential ambition to mean a looming dogfight with Mahama.

According to him, his boss had done a lot of analyses and personal assessment, and had become convinced he could lead the NDC to power in 2020.

He assured that the former Kumasi Mayor would adopt a decent campaign, devoid of insults and insinuations, and stressed that that the NDC could win political power in the next elections if there is peace and unity in the party.
