Flagbearer of the opposition NDC, John Dramani Mahama has embarked on a two-working day visit to the southern part of the western constituency.
The tour, labelled as ‘Thank You Tour’ to the Western Coastline is to show appreciation to the natives, especially those who voted for him during the party’s Presidential Primaries elections held recently.
His tour is also aimed at familiarizing himself with the fisher folks, drivers and market women to know their difficulties and challenges they face as civilians.
This, he said would help the party develop better policies that would help solve their grievances in the constitution.
Mr Mahama will further engage party executives and strategic stakeholders, interact with the citizenry and touch base with the party’s grassroots, among other activities.
The regional secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has issued a directive that “no stakeholder from a particular constituency is in any way permitted to follow the flag bearer and the team to other constituencies once the flag bearer leaves your respective constituency.”
