Majority of Current Gospel Songs are All Waste – Prof. KOFI Abraham

Veteran Gospel Musician by name Prof. KOFI Abraham has said that he has developed a distaste for gospel music in Ghana because majority of current gospel artistes do not produce songs but just shout which makes it waste.

Making his point on This Is Gospel Show on hitz FM, the experienced gospel musician stated that, current gospels songs carries no waste.

According to him, years ago when legends in the gospel fraternity were active, it was breathtaking listening to Gospel music but that cannot be said about the current generation of gospel artiste.

To him, this current crop of gospel songs are full of shouting, notwithstanding the fact that, majority has lost their way out and added that it is sickening.

“Gospel music of today is full of noise. They are always screaming. Shouting all over, carries no message to the listeners,” – he said in an interview TIG Show.

Prof. KOFI Abraham has over the years exhibited and proven him self well in the gospel industry. Recorded massive tunes, work hard to come out with albums such as ‘Wahwe MESo’, ‘Yesu MO’ and many others.
