The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said it makes more sense to give the Creative Arts Industry of Ghana more insight.
Speaking to Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, the Vice President indicated the NPP Government wants more focus on the creative arts sector.
“We want to consider the Creative Arts Industry a major growth pole in this economy, because there is so much talent in the sector. A lot of talents are there but getting access to things for better growth is the issue, reason the NPP government is more focus on giving them all the growth. The Creative Arts Bill would definitely be passed when parliament resumes in October.” he said.
According to him, Government will work with the private sector to put up recording studios in places like Tamale, Tema, Accra and Kumasi.
