Man burnt alive in car
THE POLICE in Kumasi are on the heels of some ‘wicked’ people who, are suspected to have set a vehicle and its owner on fire at Tetrefu near Kumasi on Sunday evening.
The killers, who are currently at large, are suspected to have killed the owner of a Kia salon car, registered GT 2887-22 somewhere before driving him/her in his/her own car to a branch road off the Tetrefu-Homabenase main road and set it on fire.
People in the community said they saw two vehicles heading to the Tetrefu-Homabenase direction on Sunday evening and later on they saw one of the vehicles in flames.
The other vehicle then drove off from the scene at top speed.
The Kuntenase Police, who are probing the case, have been briefed about this information so they are suspecting murder.
“Information gathered at the scene indicated that on 04/06/23 at about 7:00pm some residents of Tetrefu saw two unknown private cars in the town heading towards Homabenase.
“That few minutes later, they saw a car suspected to be one of the two cars under flames”, a police report which THE NEW PUBLISHER has sighted, shockingly disclosed.
The Kuntenase Police, who are suspecting a murder case, said “Occupants in the other car might be those who murdered the unidentified person and set the car ablaze”.
The police report further said officials of DVLA would be contacted for the detailed particulars of the totally gutted vehicle, in order to help the police in their efforts to apprehend the killers.
Meanwhile, charged body has been dumped in the morgue as police investigations are still ongoing.
