Man Kills Lover, Stabs Himself

Harriet Kafui Ahiati, a 25-year-old lady in the Volta Region has been murdered and the suspect is her boyfriend by name Jay Dordorye who attempted suicide twice after the murder but he simply did not die.

The two have been dating since they were in Junior High School (JHS) and have remained lovers for a little over six years.

Jay, a 26-year-old footballer who plays for Silion Football Club, was reported to have used a knife to cut Harriet’s throat. His reasons remain unknown.

He then attempted to hang himself on the ceiling fan in their room but he fell from the fan.

Jay, wanting to die at all cost, then used the knife to stab himself several times but he still did not die. He is currently under arrest but has been sent to the Volta Regional hospital facility where he is being treated of knife his wounds.

Linda Gbologa, mother of Harriet said she was informed of the incident and she rushed to the scene.

She said she knows Jay to be the boyfriend of her late daughter but she never knew the two were having any form of misunderstanding in their relationship.
