THE KNUST Police in Kumasi have launched a manhunt for one Nana Yaw aka ‘The Game’, who is said to be a supplier of Indian Hemp also known as ‘Ganja’.
One of The Game’s main customers at Boadi near KNUST, identified as Musah Saafui, has been nabbed in possession of 92 wrapped substances believe to be Wee.
Saafui, when he was being interrogated after his arrest on March 22, 2022, mentioned the Game as his main supplier, hence the decision of the police to hunt for him.
A police report sighted by THE NEW PUBLISHER said a police patrol team on March 22, 2022, at 1am, saw one Emmanuel Boateng walking at Boadi near a game center.
The police patrol team suspected Boateng to be a criminal so they instantly subjected him to a thorough search in public to see if he was hiding an illegal item on him.
And true to the suspicion of the police patrol team, nine wrapped substances, suspected to be Indian hemp popularly known as ‘Wee’ or ‘Ganja’ were found on him”.
The police then apprehended Boateng, who during a ‘hot’ interrogation, mentioned one Musah Saafui as the one who sold the illegal substance to him at Boadi.
Boateng then led the police to arrest Saafui in his house at Boadi, where during a search on him, 92 wrapped of Wee were found. Saafui mentioned the Game as is his supplier.
