Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah has been named as the new face of Ghanaian Textiles giant, Ghana Textiles Printers (GTP) at a ceremony in Accra.
The Textiles company unveiled the new addition to the brand, the GTP ‘Adepa Dumas’. GTP ‘Adepa Dumas’ is the new fabric sensation from the fabric masters, GTP.
Martha Ankomah’s expectation as the new brand ambassador of GTP Adepa Dumas is to project, promote and market the new product using social media platforms and other promotional materials across the country to advertise the colourful trendy new fabric.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Head of Marketing at GTP, Stephen Kofi Boadi, revealed that the inspiration behind the new range of fabrics was the zeal by women to stand out.
The fabric, he noted, is targeted at the very high end of society and has premium quality with varied colours.
He also announced plans by GTP to release new range of fabrics onto the market. The designs of the fabrics once outdoored, will not be repeated, he stated.
“So you might see the fabric, if you don’t buy, the next time you visit the shops, you will only find new sets of designs and fabrics,” he indicated.
GTP is the foremost indigenous Ghanaian wax print brand. The brand has five labels namely: Nustyle, Adepa, Safoa, Nsroma, Adepa Dumas and Institutional (Private label) with each product addressing the particular needs of the textile consumer.
Friends and family members joined the actress to share in her joy as she bags a new endorsement deal with the textile giant GTP which took place at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra.
