Martha Wades into Banks Collapse Saga
Renowned Actress Martha Ankomah has expressed her support for Dr. Mensa Otabil, leader of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), in relation to the collapse of Capital bank.
She said even though he is being criticized for playing a role in the collapse of Capital bank, she still has faith in him.
In an interview with GhanaWeb, the charming actress said “I have so much faith in my pastor. He’s been a good pastor with so much integrity so I believe that the truth will prevail.”
Dr. Mensa Otabil was heavily criticized by majority of Ghanaians after it emerged he played a contributory role in the collapse of Capital Bank where he was an Executive Chairman of the Bank’s Board.
Many have argued that the theologian should have set an example by preventing the directors of the bank from misusing depositor’s money.
However, Martha Ankomah, insist she has faith in God that her Pastor will sail through.
“The truth will prevail at the right time, I have faith in God that, God loves his children and whatever situation they find themselves in he has a way of bringing them out…”
Meanwhile, Martha Ankomah has disclosed that single life is a worry to her and for that matter, she is searching for a man to spend the rest of her life with.
She responded “yes oo” when she was asked if she is single and when asked whether she was searching, she said, “yes by the Grace of God”.
The actress who is a staunch Christian indicated that she works in the food department of the church and although people see it as a funny position, she loves what she does.
Martha Ankomah has featured in several movies like ‘Power of the gods’, ‘Shakira’, ‘Sin of the Soul’, ‘Heart of Men’, ‘Somewhere In Africa’, ‘Sugar Town’, ‘A Trip To Hell’.
