Residents of Kasoa in the Central Region and some communities in Accra remain enveloped in fear and great worry after some potent male adults alleged that their mature genitals either shrunk in size or disappeared completely after they shook hands with an unnamed stranger.
Other say it is a hoax to rob and assault innocent people and that this is not the first time such stories have come up but fade off after a period.
Hoax or reality, some male residents in the affected areas now walk around with their two palms cupped on their flaps to protect their dicks and balls and refusing to exchange handshakes with strangers.
As per a recent update from UTV News, there have been seven similar incidents reported in the last fortnight.
The most recent occurrence, detailed by Jacob Kubi, a UTV correspondent based in Kasoa, was on March 24, 2024, as narrated during the Midday Live News on March 25.
According to the report, a shoe vendor in Kasoa became entangled in this concerning pattern after allegedly coming into contact with two individuals believed to be non Ghanaians.
Describing the incident, Eben elaborated, “Over the last two weeks, seven individuals in the Central region have reported their penises missing after physical contact with specific individuals.”
He further indicated that the recent one, which was on Monday, March 25th, 2024 involved a shoe vendor stationed at Kasoa under the overhead bridge. Two individuals approached the shoe seller with the intention of purchasing some of his shoes.
“They asked for the price, and these two guys pretended as if they didn’t understand what the seller was saying. One of them got closer and made body contact with him and according to the seller, he felt like an electric shock in his body and realized his penis was missing after constant checks.” He added.
He expatiated that the suspects were captured and taken to the Kasoa C.B.D police station. Following police questioning, one of the suspects confessed to planning the incident and claimed they could restore the missing manhood using incantations and chants.
“So, he raised an alarm for people to gather, and the two were caught and brought to the Kasoa C.B.D police station. During questioning by the police, the man admitted that he had taken the other man’s penis and claimed he could bring it back by doing some special words and actions, but even after trying, the penis hasn’t come back yet.”
Nevertheless, despite his numerous efforts, the victim’s manhood remained missing at the time of filing the report. He added that the suspects had suggested that there are around 40 individuals operating in Accra, engaged in similar activities.
