Merry Makers Flock Recreational Centres In Accra

Merry Makers flocked various entertainment centres, malls, beaches, drinking spots and street corners of Accra on New Year Day, January 1 to welcome in the year.

The Capital City was alive with many revellers, enjoying themselves at the various beaches such as Labadi Beach, Tawala Beach, and Bojo beach among others.

When the Ghana News Agency (GNA) visited the La Pleasure Beach at 13:30 hours, there was a large number of people at the Beach engaging in all forms of activities including swimming, horseback riding, dancing, playing football and many other activities which gave the perception that they were ‘enjoying themselves’.

Ms Daphne Addison, a reveller who spoke to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) expressed gratitude to God for her life and the grace to be ushered into a new year

Some merry makers were seen dancing to the tunes of Patata’s One Corner, Kwami Eugene’s Angela, Ebony’s Maame Hwe, Wutah’s Bronya and Kofi Kinataa’s Single and Free.
