Ministry of Gender condemns battering against Nursing Mother

The Ministry of gender,children and social protection has condemn the assault against a nursing mother by a police officer in uniform at the Midlan savings and loans bank in Accra,the content of the video ,the Ministry describe as ”very disheartening and nauseating”

In a statement signed by Madam Otiko Afisa-Djaba, the ministry threatened a massive protest against the police department should they fail in dealing with the assault case regarding an officer and a nursing mother with dispatch.

It all happened when the nursing mother got into the hall of the micro-finance company to cash out her funds of 250 cedis. She was asked to return and that the bank had closed but she refused.

There was an attempt to get her out which caused the attack. The bank attracts more customers. There is the suspicion of the bank having issues hence panic withdrawals. She was there earlier and seems she was having issues getting her money of 250 cedis.
