Mireku Backs Wellington To Lead Hearts

A FORMER Hearts of Oak Skipper, Amankwa Mireku, has backed Henry Wellington to head the club’s technical bench to success this season.

He insists Henry Wellington has the technical expertise that the club needs in order to make a strong impact in the league.

Amankwa Mireku, a lateral defender, who was noted for his surging runs on the flanks during his heydays, said Wellington had been in the coaching business for a long time and, therefore, possesses the expertise to lead the ‘phobians’ to affluence.

“I have the strong belief that Coach Wellington can be a successful Hearts of Oak head trainer if the players give him the needed backing.

“This is a coach who has been in the sport for a long time, therefore he, leading Hearts to chalk successes in the upcoming season, is possible”, he noted.
