Mob kills suspected robber over GHC800

A SUSPECTED robber has lost his life after a failed attempt to rob a hapless mother and daughter of an amount of GH800.

The bandit, who was wielding a sharp knife, threatened to stab his hapless victims if they do not surrender their cash.

The visibly-shaken woman and her daughter, who live at Maakro in Kumasi, surrendered the money on them to the robber.

Things then turned very bad for the hoodlum as he attempted to flee from the scene with his stolen booty.

The mother and daughter then mustered courage as they, in unison, shouted for help, which instantly arrived.

A group of young men in the community gave the robber a wild chase and eventually grabbed him with the cash.

The mob then applied instant justice on the robber, who according to reports, openly begged for forgiveness.

The constant plea of the robber virtually fell on deaf ears as he was mercilessly beaten until he gave up the ghost.
