Real Madrid officials will meet with Luka Modric’s represenatives on Friday, amid reports of Inter’s interest, reports Marca.
The Serie A club have been linked with a move for the Croatia midfielder, but Madrid have denied any interest in parting with him.
The club and Modric’s representatives will meet to discuss a new contract, in hopes of ending another possible standoff following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to Juventus.
The Nerazzurri are reportedly keen to take Modric to Italy, as they prepare for their Champions League return and will offer him a major wage hike and a six-year deal, despite him turning 33 next month.
Madrid’s president, Florentino Perez, has however claimed he won’t sell the 32-year-old for anything less than his €750million release clause
