MODUGA To Hold Elections To Elect Leaders

The Models Union of Ghana in recent times have been in the news for all the positive reasons with regards to rebranding the Modeling Industry in Ghana. In view of this, leaders have seen how needed it is to hold National and Regional Elections to elect leaders to stir affairs of the Union going forward.

MODUGA is aware of the effort most of these models are putting in and is making every effort to push them to the high rank. As compared to the other creative arts talents, Models are very versatile and have much more talents.

In a statement signed by Mr. Kofi Agyei who handle as Chairman, MODUGA election committee and forwarded to thepublisheronline.com, invites all interested applicants to pick up forms for application at a cost of 50.00 only.

”The Constitution of the MODUGA stipulates there must be a general election in every four years to reaffirm or elect new national and regional executives to continue to run affairs of the union” – session of the statement reads.

”Applicants can register through the moduga website at www.moduga.org and pay their application fees via the following number 0554078593 immediately after application else the application will not be accepted.

After applications are received, the committee will invite qualified applicants for assessment, then thereafter unveil them for campaigning.” – the statement further added.

According to Mr. Kofi Agyei, swearing in ceremony for national executives shall be on 15th December during the GMIA awards night whiles Final swearing in of regional executives will be on 27th January, 2018.

MODELS UNION OF GHANA (MODUGA) CALLS FOR APPLICANTS FOR CHANGE OF NATIONAL EXECUTIVES

Greetings to all.
We write to inform the public, media, models, modelling agencies and all within the creative arts industry that the Models Union of Ghana (MODUGA) shall be holding its general national and regional elections as follows.

The Constitution of the MODUGA stipulates there must be a general election in every four years to reaffirm or elect new national and regional executives to continue to run affairs of the union.

This committee must be made of non executives of MODUGA but with background in the creative arts industry.

That is the bases for this statement.

The committee is therefore by this release and by provision of the MODUGA constitution, inviting all interested applicants to pick up forms for application at a cost of 50.00 only.

THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE.

Criteria in selecting qualified applicants for national executives.

must be of sound mind

must be able to read and write
must not be less than 20 years of age
must be a registered member of MODUGA
must be in the Modelling industry for at least one year
must get endorsement from one person from all the ten regions

The committee considers that interested applicants should pick up forms immediately after this release 5th October 2018, fill and submit not later than 23:59 of 31st October, 2018.

Applicants can register through the moduga website at www.moduga.org and pay their application fees via the following number 0554078593 immediately after application else the application will not be accepted.

The national election shall be held at the National Theatre on the Sunday 9th December, 2018 at 2:00 PM.

While the regional elections within 29th and 30th December, 2018.

The swearing in ceremony for national executives shall be on 15th December during the GMIA awards night.

Final swearing in of regional executives will be on 27th January, 2018.
