After weeks of rigorous work, Monique Mawulawe Agbedekpui has been crowned as Miss Ghana 2020.
The event that took place at the National Theater in Accra and streamed on lalafio.com saw sixteen ladies battle for the coveted crown.
The event that saw performances from Okyeame and some other great Ghanaian artistes.
In the end, Volta Region’s Monique Mawulawe Agbedekpui was crowned as Miss Ghana 2020 and will hold on to the crown until 2021 when she will hand it over to another queen.
The annual Miss Ghana pageant seeks to select queens who best fit the agenda of the Miss Ghana Foundation and also represent Ghana at the Miss World event.
Winners of the pageant are, therefore, expected to use the medium to transform the lives of deprived people and also help empower the vulnerable.
In the last few years, organisers have redirected the essence of the pageant’s monetary gains to also working vigorously to touch the lives of Ghanaians via the Miss Ghana Foundation.
