More Work To Be Done – First Lady
First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, has said the Akufo-Addo-led government will do the best it can to work to bring relief to all Ghanaians.
According to her, although the government has started implementing some major pro-poor policies and programmes, there is still much work to be done especially for women and children.
So far the government in one year has implemented programmes including the Free Senior High School, the One-District-One-Factory, Paperless Port system and several others.
The president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has recently signed the bills of three Development Authorities- Coastal, Middle-belt and Northern, to drive development across the country.
Mrs Akufo-Addo wrote on her Facebook page on Tuesday January 9 that : “ H.E Hajia Samira Bawumia and I just looked back on the year 2017 and we are grateful for your support and encouragement.
“We admit there is more to be done and we will do our best to make our great nation better, especially for women and children. Let us stay positive with faith and consistent action, success will be inevitable in all we do. May God richly bless you all.”
