A Member of Parliament (MP) for Gomoa Central in the Central Region, Naana Eyiah Quansah on May 12 joined mothers in her Constituency in celebrating this year Mother’s Day.
The MP who doubles as the Deputy Minister for Lands and Resources in a way of expressing her love presented some items to the mothers.
She presented wax prints, food, and assorted drinks to over 300 women drawn from 32 towns and 7 villages in the Constituency.
In her message to mothers, Mrs. Quansah encouraged them to work hard to invest in their children’s education, adding that it is prudent for them to minimize the buying of expensive clothing.
She also urged the women to always shower blessings to their children in order for them to be prosperous in the future.
According to her, children who had gone wayward could be as a result of the wrath they incurred from their parents,
Donates Toilet Facility
As part of the celebration the Constituency Organizer of the NPP, Mr. George Ato Benyi on behalf of the MP inspected a 10 seater toilet facility and modern bulbs donated to Gomoa Osamkrom Prisons.
The 176 prison mates at Gomoa Osamkrom Prisons were not left out of the celebration. They were also presented with food, pastries, and assorted drinks as part of the celebration.
