Some Members of Parliament (MP) are alleged to be secretly recording the conversation they have with their colleagues as though they were undercover journalists.
The MP for Nhyiaeso in Kumasi Metroplis, Mr. Kennedy Kankam, who made the shocking revelation, did not state why this was happening.
“Some MPs secretly record the conversation that they have with their colleagues for reasons best known to them”, the outspoken lawmaker disclosed on radio in Kumasi.
Speaking on Oyerepa FM, Hon. Kankam stated that there are all manners of MPs in the august House, who have different and weird characters.
The radio station was discussing why Mr Kennedy Agyapong, MP for Assin Central, could publicly rain insults on Kwabena Nsenkyire, a top NPP member in Kumasi.
According to Hon. Kankam, the public should not have the wrong belief that every MP is an honourable person.
“Being a member of parliament doesn’t mean that the person is an honourable person so the public should take notice of that”, he indicated.
The Nhyiaeso MP alleged that some of the lawmakers also engage in all sorts weird of lifestyles, which is not acceptable in society.
“We have different professionals in parliament, some gossip, some drink alcohol and other also engages in all manner of bad lifestyles”, he alleged.
