Mr. Beautiful Punches Omane Acheampong Again

The high level of tension between Gospel musician Nicholas Omane Acheampong, popularly known as Tabitha Kum and actor Mr. Beautiful seems not to end soon.

The two have been on loggerheads for a very long time with Omane Acheampong disclosing time ago that, he used to be a worshipper at Glorious Wave Church International, but had to quit because of the attitude of Mr. Beautiful.

Asked why he left, the musician said Mr Beautiful hurled curses on him, so he did not see the need to worship with him in the same church.

However Mr. Beautiful reacting to the above in an interview with Halifax Ansah-Addo on Okay FM’s ‘Best Entertainment Show’ Monday morning indicated that Omane Acheampong obsession is nothing valuable to him.

Mr. Beautiful revealed Omane Acheampong in his days at Glorious Wave Chapel indicated had no vision and was aimless.

“I really don’t want to respond to Omane Acheampong. I don’t want to have his time. I won’t give you much details but ask him if he says, I sacked him from Glorious Wave Chapel. He never knew the reason why he went to that church. He never knew the reason why he was following Prophet Badu Kobi.

“Many were going, reason he followed. I know where I am going and I am still communicating with my destination people so I don’t want issues like that of Omane Acheampong to distract me. You guys should ask him why Prophet Badu stopped him from marrying a day to his wedding, when he’s able to answer that, I’ll show him why he left the church. Everything was ready, just 8 hours to your wedding and it was cancelled” he said.

Concert Party Collapsing

On the same show, Mr. Beautiful said former President, John Kofi Agyekum Kufuor is responsible for the collapse of Key Soap Concert party.

The actor disclosed that the popular comedy show which aired on TV some years back, birthed popular actors such as Agya Koo, Akrobeto and others but later went off screens without any heads –up or explanations to the audience.

Mr. Beautiful alleged that prior to the appointment of the late Eva Lokko as GBC boss by Former President J. A. Kufour, Key Soap Concert Party was widely patronized.

According to him, the reason for the cancellation of the show was due to the change in financial policy by the late Eva Lokko, who was also 2012 vice presidential candidate for Progressive Peoples Party, during her time in office as Ghana Broadcasting Corporation’s Director-General.

Beautiful further indicated that sponsors like Lever Brothers Company, manufacturers of  soaps and detergents were unable to meet the high financial demand instituted by the late Eva Lokko.

“President Kufour is the cause of the collapse of Key Soap Concert for appointing the Madam Eva Lokko as GBC Director-General. Lever brothers couldn’t meet with the high financial demand from GBC so had to stop sponsoring the show.” Mr. Beautiful told Halifax.
