MTN Launches AYO Health Insurance

The Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) in partnership with AYO recharge with care had rolled out a health insurance package to ensure inclusive health support for all.

The AYO recharge with care enables subscribers to buy a life policy cover up to a maximum of GH¢3,000.00 for a subscriber and one family member and a hospitalisation cover of a maximum of GH¢40.00 per night for subscriber whenever there was a top up.

Mr Simon Amoh, Western Regional Senior Manager for South-West, who announced this during the launch of the AYO recharge with care noted that it demonstrated the company’s commitment to innovation and value for life

He noted that Insurance was not only a form of social safety net but a tool to absorb risks from individuals and ensure stability while promoting economic growth which made it even more relevant in todays ‘world.

According to him, With the package, any individual who signed onto the scheme could be assisted in the event of death or hospitalisation depending on the policy the individual had signed.

He said the company would continue to provide customers products that contributed to their general well-being and development.

He said, aside the financial inclusion with the AYO Recharge with care services, subscribers would be in the position to enjoy all the benefits of an insurance package in a more convenient manner.
