My Brand Is Above Promoting Alcohol, Bleaching Creams – McBrown

Ghana’s veteran actress and TV presenter, Nana Ama McBrown, has vowed never to promote alcoholic beverages and bleaching products despite the compensations attached to it.

Speaking in an interview with AJ Sarpong on ‘Hall of Fame show’ on Citi TV, she said she is prepared to advertise for any product or company obliging to work with her apart from alcohol and bleaching creams.

“As I speak, I have decided not to do alcohol or bleaching creams; whatever brand, whatever money I will be given, I will not do it. Aside from that, I am ready to market anything”.

The ‘Asore ba’ famed actress added that she is an influence on the youth in the country and so involving herself in such things will have a bad impact on them.

“I am an influence on the children in the country so there are few things I have decided not to pay attention to,” Nana Ama stated.

She further added that if the government even warrants the promotion of alcohol and bleaching creams, she would not include herself.

Speaking about her marriage life, Nana Ama stipulated she was never pressured to get married and admonished others to make decisions on their own.
