Award winning Ghanaian artiste, Gregory Promise Bortey Newman known in music circles as King Promise says that his penchant for heavily endowed women has declined and has subsequently described that as “a childhood feeling”.
Interacting with DJ Candyman on Atinka FM’s drive time programme Friday, he stated: “…I’m a very cool guy…I think I used to like women who are heavily endowed, but that was when I was growing up; that is not what I look out for now…It was a childhood feeling”.
“If a lady I like has it, then that is a plus but I don’t necessarily look out for women who are heavily endowed…I think I’m over that,” he said.
Not long ago, King Promise was reported to have revealed his great taste for women who have “big butts”.
The “CCTV” hit maker also revealed that he would fulfill a life-long dream to clutch a collaboration with Grammy Award winner, Drake, however, on the Ghanaian music scene, he said that highlife legend, Ofori Amponsah is one of the artistes he has always admired from afar. To this, he is bent on having a collaboration with Ofori Amponsah.
“…Ofori Amponsah is someone I really look up to. I grew up listening to him a lot; when you study my songs carefully, you would notice a little flavor of Ofori Amponsah”. He said.
Commenting on his recognition and reception at the international arena, he mentioned that he has had a successful tour in Europe.
He noted that he had his UK tour in March of which he performed in Birmingham, London, Manchester and Leicester. He also mentioned having played in Germany, Holland and Spain.
On the success of the international tour, he said: “It was an amazing success, you know when you go a different country to perform; it is a different thing but I must say that every show sold out”.
“…everywhere was packed, the fans came in their numbers and they sang along word-for- word…It was a great feeling”.
Grabbing the opportunity to spew a few words for his well-wishers, he spurred his fans on to continue anticipating the best of music from him and keep supporting the brand, “King Promise”.
