My Wedding With Michy Happening Next Year – Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale says he and his fiance, Shatta Michy, are planning to marry in early next year 2019.

Wale revealed on the Super Morning Show on Joy FM, Friday, October 26, that they are currently “working on our wedding” next year but will not reveal the exact date.

The main highlight of Shatta Wale’s ‘Reign’ album launch was his surprise proposal to his baby mama Shatta Michy.

The dancehall act surprised many, including the mother of his two kids, Majesty and Cherisa, when he went down on one knee to propose to Shatta Michy at the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra.

”Michy is my better half. We are working on our wedding. People should watch out for next year” – he said..

Commenting on the success of his reign album, the ‘Gringo’ hitmaker explained that he worked very hard towards the release of the much talked about the album and he was not surprised to see “The Reign” album making it to the 6th place on the World Album Chart on the Billboard.

Shortly after the release, some persons criticized the album with some describing it as ‘trash’.

The 17-track ‘Reign’ album has songs like ‘Gringo’, ‘Bend Over’, ‘I Regret’, ‘If I See’ and ‘Wonder’ featuring Nigeria’s Olamide, the only artiste featured on the album.

However, Shatta Wale in an exclusive with Daniel Dadzie on JoyFM disclosed that everything that is happening doesn’t really surprise him because this was what he has been praying.

He added that he and his team are working to sell Ghana to the world and also to let people know the kind of music produced here.
