‘My wife is not my manager’ – Stonebwoy

Reggae-dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has denied rumors that suggest he demoted his manager to the position of an agent with the plan to make his wife his new manager.

A few weeks ago, it was reported that Stonebwoy and his manager Black Cedi had fallen out due to misunderstanding between the two.

It was also mentioned that Stonebwoy’s wife may have been the cause of the confusion because she had been involved in the running of activities related to the dancehall act’s career.

Speaking in interview with Jessica on Citi Fm, the ‘Kpookeke’ hitmaker said his wife has no such interest in becoming his manager as has been put out.

“Let me be clear here that, my wife Louisa is not my manager. She’s busy and not ready to manage me now. Also she did not cause any confusion between my relationship with Black Cedi, there was need for an audit which has seen all these changes” he said.

Responding to a question concerning his former signee Kelvyn Boy, Stonebwoy made an appeal to him to work on his temperament and attitude.

“Like you said these are things people have seen and I have seen as a person as well especially after the Wendy Shay incident, where I was the same one who called him to join us on the table or on the line up so as to throw some shine on him.

“Even so I think that he could work on it better but it is a gradual process for everybody and one thing is realizing and wanting to fix it,” he noted.
