Mzbel: Dating A Married Man Is The Best

Ghanaian singer, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, famously known as Mzbel has openly shared her preference for dating married men, revealing that such relationships are less stressful and carry fewer responsibilities compared to being involved with single men.

In an honest conversation on the UTV’s U Cook Show, hosted by Empress Gifty Adorye, Mzbel explained, “Since I started dating, all the men in my life have been married because they are accompanied with fewer responsibilities. When they come to you, they won’t bother you with house chores because they have to return to their wives. I like it that way because that’s how I started,” she said.

The singer’s remarks sparked intrigue, as she outlined the benefits of such relationships, stating that they come with fewer demands and complications.

The musician who doubles as an entrepreneur, elaborated that married men tend to bring less drama into her life, as their primary commitment remains with their wives.

This arrangement, according to Mzbel, allows her to enjoy the relationship without feeling the pressure of additional expectations. For Mzbel, being involved with a married man means enjoying a carefree connection without the traditional pressures of conventional relationships.

When Empress Gifty asked about her current relationship status, Mzbel revealed she is engaged but has not yet tied the knot. She further disclosed that she has deliberately avoided finding out her fiancé’s marital status.

“I haven’t asked him if he’s married because I don’t want to know. I’m not married, but I am engaged. He hasn’t met my family yet… We’re both interested in each other, and that’s what matters,” she said, emphasizing the simplicity of her relationship and her preference for privacy.

Mzbel also shared that most of the men who have pursued her throughout her life have been married. Despite initially resisting the idea of dating married men, she admitted she found herself drawn to these relationships. She added that she and her fiancé share a child but do not believe in formal introductions or family meetings as prerequisites for their bond.

“We have a child together. I don’t believe in the idea that he needs to meet my family for an official introduction, it’s between the two of us. He is much older than me, I asked for a ring, and he gave it to me,” she said.

Mzbel’s candid comments have ignited widespread debate, as the “16 Years” hitmaker challenges traditional perspectives on relationships and societal expectations.
